The journey started in Amsterdam, where the streets were alive with market stalls, selling everything from fashion to flowers, statement necklaces to old vintage furniture. We spent days wandering the cobbled paths admiring the variety of beautiful, unique products for sale.

Fast forward to 2021, two new Mum’s with 40 years of Marketing experience living in Dubai looking for their next big career break, met at a networking event in the lovely Sanderson’s Café in The Sustainable City.  There were so many likeminded entrepreneurs with fascinating skills and a wealth of experience with no one wanting to head back into the predictability of the corporate world.  With time on their side during the covid months, ideas had blossomed, and new brand babies were born.  This was the start of Sanderson’s Market.

As the market organically grew, so did the enthusiasm of everyone involved.  Friendships were made, small businesses supported each other, and customers left very happy with their gorgeous, local purchases.
